A Hotel That Was Just Perfect For All My Needs

My work is distinctive from scores of others. I break my week up between travelling and being based in the workplace. My office work I can do with my eyes closed; every so often though, the constant travelling wears me out. My day is often made longer if there are road works, accidents or weather like snow and rain. Unwinding and relaxing is a firm must at the end of the day, when on the road. The only way to do this is find high-quality accommodation. A sudden phone call from head office meant travelling to an unfamiliar destination and having to alter my night’s stay in a hotel.

Changing my schedule at the drop of a hat is normal for head office and they did it last week. I had to find at the last-minute a hotel near Manchester. It seems on that day, my luck was in. I found a hotel straight away. My conference for the next day was just a fifteen minute drive away. In my experience hotels on the outskirts of main cities tend to be less noisy than their city centre counterparts.Manchester hotels that are in the outskirts tick all the fitting boxes. Depending on the star rating, you can find a broad range of facilities available. They also have their own in house restaurant which is perfect for business people who don’t want to go out.

The room itself was huge, airy, more than adequate. A broad en-suite bathroom, comfortable bed and efficient room service were also available including an early morning wake up call. My conference the next day was at 9am. so I contacted the hotel staff to have an early call. I felt so energetic as I had slept enormously well. I was undoubtedly looking forward to the full English breakfast on offer. The chef did a superior job of making the plate look and taste good. People on the road will know how important a fine breakfast is. The hotel was very busy, business people everywhere. Customers were welcomed by the many staff who smiled and were helpful.

One thing I hate though, is rush hour traffic; but from the hotel it was very smooth going. The conference and the rest of the day went very well. This is why you should never book a hotel which is situated in the city centre. Instead choose the one on the outskirts. I would indeed book a room in that hotel again.
